Pink!

I was colour tagged but the lovely Sher to show you things that have the slightest shade of pink in them. Well, I hate to say this but I am not a pink kinda girl! Most of these things in my room were either given to me as presents or my mom, thinking that I was the only girl in the family, decided to drown me in as much pink as possible! Not cool! So without further ado, pinkness in my room...

A pair of indian style earrings-birthday present from my middle brother a few years ago

A Juicy Couture box-A birthday present from my eldest brother and family this year.
It's a purse, I'm not using it yet.
I'm waiting till my current one dies on me!

A G-STAR RAW tshirt from my middle brother and an Abercrombie tshirt from a friend.

Fairy lights-I bought these with soulsista on my birthday this year

Dora the Explorer pencil set-it was a gag gift on my 22nd birthday from my eldest brother and his business partner.

Hairband-Boypren gave me when I went to visit because, well, it's pink!

My bed sheet-courtesy of mom.

Well, since now I have to colour tag a few other bloggers, I would like to see what purple coloured items you have in your room, it is after all my favourite colour! So I now tag

Your mission now, if you choose to accept (how mission impossible does that sound? although you have no choice but to accept! teehee) is to look around your house, room etc. for items that are purple in colour or have traces of purple in them, blog about it whenever, choose your colour & then tag other readers! Have fun loves!

p/s: I would have put up a picture of my hot pink nails but I already removed the colour to cut my nails. It was too long and got in the way. My mind works in retarded ways!

p/p/s: I just realised this tag is slightly voyeuristic, don't you think? well, without the sexual innuendo of course!

December

Eek its already December; Happy December guys! Sorry I haven't been blogging for almost a week now. I decided to take a little break. The truth would be I have been weighing my options if I should quit blogging or not and decided that I shouldn't, for the sole reason that I have met so many great ladies and lads that it would be a shame to just let that friendship go. So now, just to play catch up, randoms from the last week:
  • I know you guys will be pissed because I am telling you all so late (especially after all the bitching and moaning about how I might not get in) but, I got into my Masters Program! Yay for me! I found out on the morning of Eid (Friday) and was jumping up and down in my moms room. I am so so happy that I am going back to school! So so happy!
  • I got a manicure and pedicure (finally) and got my nails painted hot pink! I love it but my middle brother hates it! Says it looks tacky. And I said, 'Uhuh, whatever!'
  • I sent soulsista a birthday present through her parents, they went to visit her in Kangaroo land, and she loved it! *phew* It was a purse from Guess.
  • My middle brother came back early for Eid and we got to hang out and talk lots of rubbish! It was so much fun.
  • My mom made yummy yummy crabs for lunch, with prawns and other seafood. Thanks to the prawns I had allergies and had to take so much of medication to make the itch stop. Stupid prawns!
  • Am so happy that Glee is on! I really like the characters Puck and Quinn. But there has to be more to Puck than just being a horny teenage boy. Hmmmm....
  • Everyone is going crazy over New Moon but I on the other hand am really excited to watch the Princess and the Frog! It's Disney at it's best me thinks.
  • Am pretty bummed that there will be no Grey's Anatomy till January. How do they expect me to wait that long?! HOW??!!
  • Am currently thinking what to eat for breakfast. Too much of eggs give you real stinky farts!
  • Happy happy happy belated birthday darling Chels! xoxo
  • Adam Lambert kissing a dude on stage at his performance for AMA's, like seriously dude, we all know you are gay you didnt have to do that. See now, you have gotten yourself cut from the show. *tsktsktsk*
  • My cousin brother Reza is thinking of starting a book drive for the less fortunate and I am so excited for that. Only I hope it really does materialize.
  • Went for a wedding on Saturday night, it was really sweet. The bride looked so sweet and pretty. And since then, wedding fever has started in Penang. Every weekend there is a wedding to attend, not just one, a few. Well, December is wedding season after all.
  • Thanks to all who loved my eurolove posts. The fact that I am still receiving comments on it brings a smile to my face.
  • Am so happy that so many of you loved the guest post that I did for Manju. Maybe I should do a series of 'How To' posts! Guys beware! Ngehehehehehehehe!
  • Realised how utterly boring my hair was. Need to do something about it pronto!
  • Got some new followers to the blog. You guys made me so so happy. All of y'all really make my day better and brighter! Love!
  • Am thinking of having a giveaway for my 200th post. What say you ey?

Eurotrip~Amsterdam (Day 2)

So in Amsterdam boypren only wanted to go to the red and green light districts. So that's what we did.

Yeap, it's a condom shop alright.
Kinda scary looking no?
Imagine if your man whips one of these out?
I would be oh so afraid!

The invisible man!
Plus I am wearing my shiny leggings.
I was wearing the grey ones but the thing was they were kinda short so please ignore my fashion faux pas (especially Nico!)!!

A sign perhaps of the next holiday destination with boypren?
hmmm?

Okay, we walked and walked in circles just to look for this Homomonument and turns out it's just three triangles on the bank of the canal.
Disappointment much!

In front of the Anne Frank house.

Back at the red light district at night.

At a 'green' cafe.
First things first,
you have to know that I DO NOT DO ANY sort of recreational drugs.
I have really close friends who do it, roomates who did it and what not.
But not me.
I know it's going to sound very weird and contradictory that one of the things in my bucket list is to get high in Amsterdam, specifically, and I did it.
The reason has got nothing to do with peer pressure or anything of that sort.
It was just a thing you do in Amsterdam and I did it.
And the experience was something to remember.
I don't really know how much I should be blogging about it or if it is appropriate even, so I am going to stop here.
If enough people want to know about it I could probably do a post.
Or if you are too shy to ask, you could just email me and I'll spill the beans.
I am very selective with the parts of my life that I share out here in the blogging world but whatever I do share I do it with honesty.
And I promise to post my bucket list as my next post so that you guys don't think that I am just making it up as I go along.

***

So with that my eurotrip comes to a fabulous end. We then headed back to Southampton where I stayed there for a week before leaving for Malaysia. We didn't go anywhere because we were so so tired and broke. Plus I just wanted some quality time with my man, so it didn't really matter that much. Enough of running around catching trains and busses.

Can you believe that it's already been two months since I left boypren? It was a good thing though posting about this, it made the whole trip more real for me. Sometimes I feel as though I dreamt everything up and looking at the pictures makes it slightly more real, if that makes any sort of sense.

Thanks all you guys for sticking with me to hear all my crappy stories about my trip. You guys have no idea how much I love each and everyone of you. If only I could throw a huge party for you guys to show my appreciation. Love you all! xoxo
